Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to lead talent acquisition efforts across all McFarland Construction locations. This role is essential to shaping our workforce, elevating our employer brand, and ensuring we attract top talent for positions in construction operations, project management, field teams, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across the organization
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Source candidates through job boards, social platforms, networking, and industry events
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview processes
  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to leadership
  • Strengthening McFarland Construction’s employer brand through outreach, content, and candidate experience
  • Ensure compliance with all hiring policies, regulations, and best practices

Education & Additional Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR (construction industry experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with candidates and internal teams
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
